Built to close a gap we kept running into.
We started Global Primegates Limited to give international businesses one trusted partner in Tanzania, a gateway to the wider East African market. One company and one standard of conduct across market entry, mining, technology, workforce and logistics — each led by people who know that specific field, all held to the same rule: say what you'll do, then do it, and put it in writing.
We saw the need first-hand. Tanzania has no shortage of opportunity in mining, industry, energy, skilled labour and trade — what it has too much of is fragmentation. An international firm entering the market deals with one adviser. A company bringing in solar or industrial equipment has to find its own certifiers, importers and installers. A mining site needing reliable staffing deals with yet another broker. And a job seeker looking for honest work has to wade through agencies that charge fees they were never entitled to.
The name reflects the idea directly. A “prime gate” is meant to be the main, trusted entrance — not a side door. Whether someone is coming to us for help entering the market, a supply contract, a technology launch in Tanzania, or their next job, they should be walking through the same front gate, into the same accountable company.
Why one company instead of several?
Most groups diversify by acquisition — buying into fields they don't understand. We did the opposite. Our leadership team's combined experience already spanned mining operations, cybersecurity, workforce placement, logistics, and local market coordination before the company was registered. Each area of our work strengthens the others, and together they cover what an international company needs to establish itself in Tanzania. When a technology company needs approvals, partners and its first Tanzanian customers, when an international firm needs help entering the market, when a growing business needs vetted staff, or when a project needs haulage and customs coordination, the same people who understand the work are already in the same building — and the same accountability applies across every gate.
